Zermatt

One of the world’s premier ski resort, car-free Zermatt has over 300 km of ski runs which cater for all levels. Zermatt boasts excellent snow conditions from top to bottom throughout the winter season because of its altitude.

During the summer season activities include hiking, mountain biking, golf, tennis, climbing, summer skiing, horse riding, cannyoning and much more.

You can reach Zermatt by train from the Geneva Cointrin, Zürich Kloten and Milan Malpensa airports in approximately 3 hours. The journey from Bern takes 2 hours and the journey from Basel just over 3 hours.

Sion is 70 km from Zermatt and has an all weather airport. Zermatt heliport is operated by Air Zermatt. You can drive by car as far as Täsch, and from there you can continue your journey to Zermatt by train or taxi (5 km).
